How do I use the Makedo Safe-Saw to cut cardboard?Updated 9 months ago

To use the Makedo Safe-Saw effectively, hold the cardboard vertically and lean into the saw with your body weight instead of just using arm strength. Slow, controlled movements help create small micro-tears in the cardboard, as the saw does not have sharp edges and works differently from a cutting blade. It's designed to be safe for children and minimize the chance of injury, guiding the user away from sharp, potentially dangerous cutting methods. It is also normal for younger children to require some assistance initially. The saw is most suited to larger forms and works best with larger surfaces down to about 2 inches in width. If you're having trouble cutting through cardboard, you can score a line using the Fold-Roller or punch a row of holes along the cut line, and then use the saw to 'join the dots'.
