What happens if my order is "Returned to Sender?"Updated 19 days ago
If your Makedo order:
- was submitted with incorrect or incomplete address details,
- has been subject to multiple failed delivery attempts
- was subject to customs fees that were unpaid by the receiver
- was not collected within a specified time from a collection point (eg, your local post office)
it may be returned to our dispatch warehouse.
Notification: As soon as your order is returned to the warehouse it was shipped from, we will notify you via email. Please be aware that the process of an order being returned to sender can sometimes take longer than the original delivery time. During peak periods it can take up to 2 weeks for an order to be processed and received at our warehouse after delivery.
Refund/credit: Once your order returns to our warehouse, we will refund you for the cost of goods for the order, minus the shipping fees applicable to your order in your region. For orders placed over the "free shipping" threshold, we will deduct the cost of shipping from your refund.
We encourage all customers to double-check their delivery information including city and post code carefully before confirming their order to avoid such fees and delays.
We are unable to hold incorrectly entered addresses after checkout. Our dispatch team are unable to verify post codes entered and need to ship orders as entered.
We reserve the right to not refund, credit or re-ship an order returning to sender until the order has been received back at our dispatch warehouse.
