I'm receiving an error message at checkout related to non-Latin or non-English charactersUpdated 10 days ago

If you are trying to process an order and your shipping or billing address contains non-Latin characters (e.g, é, ğ or ö), or an address in a language that contains other special characters (eg, Arabic or Japanese characters), you will receive an error message at checkout that reads:

"Sorry, we're unable to process addresses with non-Latin or non-English characters. Please use Latin/English characters only."

What can I do in order to submit my order in the correct format?

If your shipping or billing address contains non-Latin characters, please convert it to the standard English alphabet before completing your purchase. A quick way to do this is to search for a simple online transliteration tool.

Why We Can't Accept Non-Standard Characters in Shipping Addresses

Our warehouse shipping systems can only process shipping and billing addresses that use standard Latin alphabet characters (a-z) and numerals (0-9).

Why this is necessary

Our shipping partners and postal carriers around the world use automated sorting systems that are designed to read the Latin alphabet only. When an address contains characters from other languages, such as Cyrillic (А, Б, В) or Kanji (一, 二, 三), these systems can't read them correctly.

For example, a street name like ulitsa Karla Marksa (улица Карла Маркса) needs to be written with the standard English alphabet to be processed by our system.

If you have corrected your address but are still experiencing difficulty placing an order, please reach out to our support team at [email protected].
